Somebody Heard

You sank in the mud Jer 38:6
They left you there to die Jer 38:9
But somebody heard Jer 38:7

Left to sink in the mud Jer 38:6
And only a servant spoke up Jer 38:7-8
Ropes let down from above Jer 38:11
Because you put your trust in me Jer 39:18

Because you put your trust in me Jer 39:18
Old rags and worn-out clothes Jer 38:11
Put them under your arms to pad the ropes Jer 38:12
Because you put your trust in me Jer 39:18

Left to sink in the mud Jer 38:6
And only a servant spoke up Jer 38:7-8
Ropes let down from above Jer 38:11
Because you put your trust in me Jer 39:18

Because you put your trust in me Jer 39:18
The city burned, the king was taken Jer 39:5, 8
But the servant walked out alive Jer 39:18
Because you put your trust in me Jer 39:18

Left to sink in the mud Jer 38:6
And only a servant spoke up Jer 38:7-8
Ropes let down from above Jer 38:11
Because you put your trust in me Jer 39:18

Let down the ropes Jer 38:11
Let down the ropes Jer 38:11

And they drew him up with ropes Jer 38:13
And lifted him out of the mud Jer 38:13

I will save you, declares the Lord Jer 39:18
Because you put your trust in me Jer 39:18
